on the realization that most people are not receiving quality financial
advice and service from their accountants. Many business owners
express concern that they rarely interact with their accountant
throughout the year and are in a panic trying to straighten out their

One example of the unfortunate circumstances that many small business
owners find themselves in is now proudly one of our thriving
and successful clients. This individual owns a retail service
company in the North East and came to us through a mutual friend
looking for help and direction. After briefly discussing their current
circumstances we found that at the advice of their previous
accountant they had operated their business as a sole-proprietorship for more
than ten years. Over this time they had paid thousands of excess tax
dollars and left all of their personal assets exposed to the highly
litigious retail environment. We were disappointed that this was
allowed to happen and went to work right away. In less than two weeks
